Ibuki Kajii (梶井 息吹, Kajii Ibuki) is the pregnant daughter of Gojiro Kajii whose husband is a member of the 1st Division Force named Tarou.

Ibuki is slim and tall woman with short messy black hair and dark-colored eyes.

She wears a plain white three-quarter sleeve tea-length dress that has a bateau neckline with a pink bow in the center and she wears white flats.

Ibuki is a kind and compassionate young woman who shows concern to the Coppelion.

History[]

Ibuki's baby's father is Tarou whom Ibara Naruse met and identified because he was listening to the conversation during Ibuki's delivery. After that, her babies are twins - one male and female. Because Taeko Nomura helped her deliver the babies, she wants Taeko to name both of them. Since Taeko hesitated to do so, Ibara quickly suggests that she'll name them instead and Ibara named the twins:

  • The male baby as "Riku" (陸lit. land).
  • The female baby as "Sora" (空 lit. sky).

Ibuki has a boyfriend named Tarou who is the father of her baby and they were close, but their relationship is unknown to her father nor friends. He is special to her to the point that Ibuki asks if Ibara Naruse and Haruto Kurosawa could find him during their diversion so that she can meet him and survive together.

Taeko Nomura[]

Ibuki seemed to be attached to Taeko because of Tako helping her many times including when she was giving birth, Taeko was the one doing the operation.

Etymology[]

  • The name Ibuki means "breath, respiration, son, interest (on money)" (息) (i) and "blow, breathe, puff, emit, smoke" (吹) (fuki/buki).
  • Ibuki's surname Kajii means "sculling oar" (梶) (kaji) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i).

Trivia[]

  • Even though Ibuki stayed in Tokyo for 20 years, she still missed the place.
